Independent bicycle dealers (IBD) market share was 54% in 2006.  German Two-Wheeler Industry Association (ZIV) GM Rolf Lemberg estimates that the independent bicycle dealers share in terms of value of 2006 total bicycle sales was €1.53 billion, which is "more than 71%."
